After the onslaught from Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zadran, and Azmatullah the rest of Afghanistan’s batsmen crumbled and were only able to score 60 runs in the last five overs. When compared to their first 15 overs they scored 102 runs, but it was the ending that cost Afghan few runs.

New Zealand Batter Fail to Shine

Once New Zealand came out to bat it was a disaster where the wickets kept tumbling and the batters never really got going. Only Glenn Phillips (18) and Matt Henry (12) scored runs in double digits and that too was not above 20 runs.

Rashid Khan and Fazalhaq Farooqi picked up four wickets each and Mohammad Nabi picked up two wickets and that was it as New Zealand were crumbled down to 75 in 15.2 overs.
