Kyle Jamieson was born in Auckland, New Zealand on 30 December 1994. Kyle Jamieson is a Kiwi right-arm medium-fast bowler who can also bat in the lower middle order for the team. Kyle Jamieson has been a part of the New Zealand cricket team for the past 2 years in all the formats of cricket and has been emerging as one of the main fast bowlers of the squad. At the age of 19 years, Kyle Jamieson made his List A debut while playing for Canterbury in the Ford Trophy Tournament. Few days later, Kyle Jamieson was selected in the squad for ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Jamieson had a

remarkable start in the tournament. He took 4 wickets in his first match. However, his team lost the match. New Zealand only played 3 matches in the tournament and knocked out in the league stage. However, Kyle Jamieson left an impact and picked 6 wickets in his 3 matches.

In October 2014, Kyle Jamieson was picked up in the Canterbury squad and played his maiden first-class match against Wellington in Plunket Shield Season. The debut match didn’t go down well for Jamieson and he failed to pick any wicket in the match.
