During the 1st test of India vs West Indies, Rain has started the proceeding at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua had a bit of moisture in the first session. After few moments the field was clear and West Indies Pacer Roach has started off the innings in style by picking both the opener Mayank Agarwal and Cheteshwar Pujara in the third over.
The speedster also gave some tough time to KL Rahul, who scored 44 runs off 97 balls with the help of five boundaries.
In the ninth over, Roach came out with a back-of-a-length delivery, which bounced sharply and Rahul was a bit caught in the crease and the ball crashed into his elbow.
Immediately he moved his right hand away from the bat as he felt pain in his elbow. At that point of time, he was only on four and Roach was still relatively fresh, bowling his fifth over.

Rahul was the one who was left out to fight in the middle as the Indian skipper Virat Kohli was caught out by Shannon Gabriel. After 7.5 overs, India was facing a tough time as they were with three wickets down with a typical score of 25. Rahul now had to grind hard and add some momentum into the innings.
Rahul in partnership with Ajinkya Rahane added 68 runs for the fourth wicket in around 27 overs. Rahul who was about to make his half-century was perished out by the off-spinner Roston Chase. Shai Hope showed very quick reflexes to take a wonderful catch.
Rahul had a bit of a chat with Rahane and then walked off, disappointed. On the other hand, Rahane went on to score 81 off 163 with 10 boundaries. India ended the day with 203 for 6 in 68.5 overs.
