RCB skipper Virat Kohli has made the right decision of batting first on this pitch. But plans went of hands, as the openers have failed to post some good opening numbers on the board and adding more to it they have lost 2 crucial wickets in the early stage of the game. At this stadium, 165-180 was the ideal 1st innings score. But RCB has failed to do so and posted a below-par score of 138-7 in 20 overs.

KKR had a good opening partnership and made a decent start to the 2nd innings. Their batsmen V Iyer, Rana, Gill have played really well and a special mention to the special person Sunil Narine – he has picked 4 crucial wickets in the 1st innings and made a quick knock of 26 in 15 balls. And after a huge effort from the entire side, KKR has won the game by 4 wickets against RCB.

Sunil Narine has been awarded as the Man Of The Match for his outstanding performance with both bat and ball.

After the win, KKR will have the Delhi Capitals side in the Qualifier-2 at Sharjah on 13th October 2021 and the winner of this contest will play the IPL 2021 finals against CSK on 15th October in Dubai.
