The huge Ashes series is booming on the grounds where third Ashes Test is set at Headingley Cricket Ground on Thursday. Australia is leading the series with 1-0 and will have to win only one more game to set its stardom. England the champions of the world cup has to make sure that they retain their win in the series.
In the second Ashes test, Steve Smith was hit by a deadly bouncer by the England fast bowler Jofra Archer while batting in the field. Smith immediately collapsed to the ground after the fierce ball hit him on his neck. He was retired hurt and left the ground.
After a 40 min break and few medical checks, the former captain was back on the field and played a brave knock of 92. However, Steve Smith has been officially ruled out of the upcoming third Ashes test as he was not completely recovered from the concussion.
Jofra Archer just imitated Smith when he came out to bat in the third Test. He showed the glimpse of the same in the nets ahead of the game. In the video, Archer could be seen leaving the balls the same way his Australian rival did at Lord’s.
Moreover, Archer also struck one coming out of the crease of the spinner exactly like how Steve Smith did to Jack Leach. Archer’s tweets were going viral until now but it seems he’s also brilliant imitating on the field.
