Jasprit Bumrah When Asked To Pick Better Middle-Order Batsman

Indian pacer Jaspreet Bumrah recently had a candid conversation with Yuvraj Singh on Instagram. The latter asked him some tricky questions during the live session. This is undoubtedly the most difficult question-and-answer round-up for the pacer.

After bidding for international cricket, Yuvraj became very active on social media platforms. Now, on lockdown amid the coronavirus outbreak, his social media activity has increased over the past one month. Before Bumrah, he also interacted with Indian opener Rohit Sharma and Mohammad Kaif.

Yuvraj Singh asks a tricky question To Jasprit Bumrah

In a live Instagram session, Yuvraj asked the Ahmedabad-born pacer to pick a good middle-order batsman between him and MS Dhoni. In answer to that question, the 26-year-old bowler stated that the task among the players mentioned above was just like giving a child a choice between his mother and father. “Choosing between Yuvraj and MS Dhoni is like choosing between mum and dad,” says Bumrah.

He also asked Yuvraj Singh that if he remembered his partnership with MS Dhoni in Cuttack, where the 38-year-old recorded his highest ODI score. Bumrah recalls that he grew up watching the partnership between them. Besides, he is delighted to be in the national team when they bat together. In the end, he has made it clear that he cannot choose between Yuvraj and Dhoni.

“Do you remember the Cuttack ODI that you set your highest ODI score? The dressing room was full of fun all day. I was very happy by seeing the two of you shared a tremendous partnership. That’s the real answer I can’t choose,” Bumrah said in a live Instagram session.

Later, Yuvraj Singh praised the pace bowler for his excellent form in Test format. Also, he supported his critics to continue to do the same in the future, without any external pressure. According to the former Indian all-rounder, the 26-year-old has all the skills he has to become the world’s number one bowler in all formats.

Yuvraj said, “You have to believe that you will be the No. 1 Test bowler in the coming years. Whatever you say outside of your goal, you need to have that confidence. Your goal is to become the No. 1 bowler in all three formats.
