IPL Franchise RCB Is Set To Undergo Brand Makeover

RCB Raised Online Storm

The IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) raised an online storm by removing their display picture and also deleting their posts from various social media accounts. This includes removing both profile pictures and cover photos from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

It was an action that made the fans, authority and even the players of the team a little curious. Some leading players like AB de Villers, Yuzvendra Chahal and also the skipper of the team, Virat Kohli tweeted the franchise regarding this strange action.

And the fans too had a hard time guessing what might be the matter with it.

Deal With A New Sponsor

This action of removing profile picture and post was done after signing a deal with a new shirt sponsor in Muthoot Fincorp Ltd.

The franchise announced a partnership of three years with Muthoot Fincorp Ltd which is a part of the Muthoot Pappachan Group. It is mainly known as Muthoot Blue, a diversified large corporation in the industry of financial services.

Huge Fan Following Of RCB

Royal Challengers Bangalore has involved some star and famous players in their team and that is the reason why they have a huge fan following all over the world. The team has well-known cricketers like Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers who are famed as the super players of cricket.

But unfortunately, RCB is yet to win their first IPL trophy. The team has failed to get a victory in the last 12 seasons of IPL. Now again they are having a hope to break their duck this year. On Thursday, RCB has confirmed that the brand image will get a makeover on 14 February.
