They will be tested on days 6 and 7 and subject to both the tests being negative they will be re-integrated into the Delhi Capitals bio-secured bubble. From April 16th onwards, the entire Delhi Capitals contingent has been put under a daily RT-PCR testing procedure. The 4th round of RT-PCR tests conducted on April 19th has returned negative. The Delhi Capitals contingent will undergo another round of RT-PCR testing on the morning of April 20th”, IPL said in a statement.

Marsh was hospitalized after testing positive in his 2nd RT-PCR test, according to a statement posted by the Delhi Capitals on Monday. Marsh’s initial test came back negative on Monday, but his 2nd test results came back positive.
If one player returns a positive COVID screening, he must endure a 7-day quarantine, as per IPL criteria. If many members of a squad test positive, the squad can only field 12 players in a match, comprising 7 Indians and one backup. In the meantime, if a franchise seems unable to field a team, the IPL’s governing council will make a decision.
Wankhede Stadium & Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, and the MCA Stadium in Pune are presently the only four locations for the IPL 2022 event.
