IPL 2022: DC vs SRH Key Players Battles To Watch Out For Today!

Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Players Battles Preview:

DC vs SRH Key Players Battles, The power-hitters of DC are yet to fire in unison. They have threatened many times to explode but they are yet to play to their full potential. DC will be itching to fire on all cylinders. They will be up against the Sunrisers who have quietly gone about their business so far. It will be an exciting clash between these two sides.

We look at DC vs SRH Key Players Battles:

#1 Prithvi Shaw vs Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The pint-sized Shaw loves to take the attack to the opposition. He almost always succeeds in taking the opening honors. Shaw’s mindset to attack every ball stands out. It’s his clarity of thought that helps him go right from ball one. In Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shaw has a worthy opponent. Kumar has been one of the most underrated pacers this season.

It has been a season where the raw pace has grabbed headlines. Hence a bowler like Bhuvneshwar has largely gone unnoticed. But he has time and again even during this season has shown why he is rated so highly. It will be a quality battle upfront.

#2 David Warner vs Marco Jansen

Complimenting Prithvi Shaw at the other end is a certain David Warner. The IPL veteran hasn’t exactly set the stage on fire. But nearing the business end, Warner will look to channel his best. He is a different beast when he gets going. Warner will fancy his chances against the young, Marco Jansen. The six feet 8 inches tall Jansen has troubled the best of the openers this season. He will look to extract seam movement off the pitch to trouble Warner. It will be an engrossing contest.

#3 Rahul Tripathi vs Kuldeep Yadav

SRH made a valuable acquisition in Rahul Tripathi. The diminutive right-hander is one of the best in the middle-overs. His ability to take on spinners right from the word go separates him from the best. Tripathi needs to be at his absolute best against Kuldeep Yadav. The left-arm chinaman has had a new lease of life at the Delhi Capitals. He has played a starring role in all of DC’s victories. Tripathi will have to counter the Yadav threat to provide SRH the impetus in the middle-overs.

#4 Aiden Markram vs Axar Patel

The SRH’s middle-order has done the bulwark of scoring this season. Aiden Markram in particular has been brilliant right throughout. He has improved his game against spin tremendously. Markram now doesn’t just look to survive but attacks the spinners. The ball turning away from him is no longer a challenge. He will look to take his chances against Axar Patel, who is not yet bowling at his best. If Markram manages to dominate Patel, SRH can explode at the death.
