Chennai Super Kings ex-skipper Ravindra Jadeja was unfollowed by CSK from their official Instagram account recently.
Earlier, Chennai Super Kings Ravindra Jadeja was not in the squad during the franchise’s last game due to a rib injury sustained during the clash against former CSKians FAF du Plessis’ team Royal Challengers Bangalore. And on Wednesday, he has been ruled out of the remaining IPL 2022 because of a rib injury.
Jadeja, who was a member of the CSK franchise for almost 10 years, first left captaincy and is now being unfollowed flashed rumors of a rift with the CSK management.

However, the CEO of CSK, Kasi Viswanathan cleared the air and said that Jadeja was released purely on medical grounds.
“Social media, I absolutely do not follow anything. I have no knowledge of what is going on there. What I can tell you is that from the management side, there has been no problem and whatever is there on social media, I’m not aware of. Jadeja firmly remains in the CSK’s scheme of things for the future, always,” Viswanathan told Indian Express.

“Jaddu had an injury during the game against RCB and after that, he didn’t play the game against Delhi Capitals. On medical advice, it has been decided that he cannot participate further in this IPL and he is heading back home. He has been released.”
Before the commencement of IPL 2022, when teams had the chance to retain any four players, It was Jadeja, who was retained by CSK for a whopping amount of ₹16 crores, another thing that went in favor of Jadeja when just 2 days before the tournament began, MS Dhoni handed over the captaincy hat to Jadeja.
However, the captaincy role turned nightmare for the all-rounder as in his captainship, the 4-time champions lose 6 out of 8 games, then he took the decision of handing over the captaincy back to MS Dhoni.
Jadeja was seen as clueless as in the 10 games he played for CSK this season, he only scored 116 runs at a strike rate of 118.37. He was seen as clueless in bowling too as he only fared to take five wickets in 10 matches.
