IPL 2020|DC vs SRH: SRH Pick Up Their First Victory Of The Season Against Delhi Capitals

In the 11th match of the 2020 Indian Premier League, the top team of the points table, Delhi Capitals was playing against the bottom team, Surisers Hyderabad at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Initially, Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to field first. In 20 overs, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted 162 runs with the loss of 4 wickets. Now Delhi Capitals needed 163 runs to win!!

In the second innings, for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Bhuvneshwar Kumar came into bowl and in his very first over, he was able to picked up the wicket of Prithvi Shaw.  Again he went fishing outside off-stumps but edged it straight to the Jonny Bairstow. After the dismissal of Prithvi, Shikhar Dhawan charged down the crease.

Then Rashid Khan got the wicket in the 7th over of Delhi Capitals skipper Shreyas Iyer, caught by Abdul Samad. The DC captain could score only 17 runs from 21 balls. In the middle of 11th over, Shikhar Dhawan was also stumped out by Rashid Khan, which was a big blow to the hopes of  Delhi Capitals and DC secured 62/3.

When Shimron Hetmyer, the batsman of West Indies was starting to look dangerous, Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed him in the starting ball of 15th over. In 12 deliveries, he scored 21 runs with the help of 2 sixes. After the dismissal of Hetmyer, Rishabh Pant took the responsibility but he also caught by a fuller delivery from Rashid Khan and Pant slog sweeped it straight to Priyam Garg. Delhi Capitals 117/5.

After the dismissal of dangerous Rishabh Pant, Marcus Stoinis was trapped by Natarajan. Finally,  Sunrisers Hyderabad won their first match of the 2020 IPL season. And Delhi Capitals has lost its first match of the season. SRH defeated DC by 15 runs.
