Indian Team Pace Back-up for World Cup

Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed are the four pacers who will travel with team India for preparation. The main reason these four bowlers are traveling is to keep replacements ready in short notice, if such need arises during the tournament and to give the opportunity for Indian batsman to face some quality bowling in nets during practice sessions.

The world cup begins on 30th May 2019 in England and Wales and ends on 14th July 2019 at Lord’s London.

Navdeep Saini who bowls at 140-150 kmph. Has impressed with his death over bowling and keeps a tight line and length. He can surprise the batsman with his pace.

Deepak Chakar who opens the bowling for CSK has good speed and bowls decent yorkers and knuckleballs at the death. He has an ability to swing the ball both the ways.

Khaleel Ahmed who is left-hand fast bowler, who bowls with decent speed and has a lot of variations. Deserve to be replaced if required for an injured bowler during WC campaign keeping his form under consideration. And the variation, he brings to the bowling attack.

Avesh Khan the young pacer who can swing the ball. And very consistent in bowling at the right areas. He is a good option in overcast condition.

India is going to the WC with three pacers Mohammad Shami, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, and Jasprit Bumrah.
