Last year’s title winning captain Iyer, who joined Punjab Kings this season at a whopping price tag of INR 26..75 crore has showed the glimpse of his batting brillance and captaincy during his first game as Punjab Kings captains. Iyer, who came into the bat at number three remained not out at 97 off 42 to take his team’s total to 244 in 20 overs.
