IPL 2025 Closing Ceremony Update

We are set for the IPL 2025 final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Punjab Kings. Both the teams have been having a significant IPL 2025 season, with strong performances from the squad and undying efforts to clinch the title. Let’s take a look at the IPL 2025 closing ceremony update. 

Who will be performing in the Closing Ceremony?

The IPL 2025 closing ceremony will be a tribute to the Indian armed forces The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) emphasized the tribute as it follows Operation Sindoor, a military strike by Indian armed forces targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, in response to a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 civilian lives. As part of the tribute, BCCI had invited the three armed forces chiefs to attend the ceremony. However, according to reports, the chiefs are unlikely to be present.

The BCCI has emphasized its gratitude towards the armed forces for their courage and sacrifice. “We salute their bravery and selfless service,” said BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia. The ceremony will feature performances by Army bands and Shankar Mahadevan will be performing the closing ceremony as well. The IPL 2025 final is scheduled on 3rd June, 2025 from 7:30PM IST at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. 

What can we expect from the IPL 2025 Final?

The IPL 2025 will be getting a maiden champion, both the teams Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have never won an IPL title, which is going to change this season. Shreyas Iyer leads the Punjab Kings to the finals after 11 years, and RCB enter the final after having failed to clinch the title 3 times. 

While Punjab Kings have lost to RCB in the Qualifier 1, they meet again at the Narendra Modi Stadium, a well rested RCB will go against redemption PBKS, as both the teams aim to end their trophy drought.
