India vs South Africa, 4th T20: India aim to level series

Team India is prepared to take on South Africa in the fourth T20 of the series and hopes to win the game in order to level the series at 2-2 on Friday. Here in this article, we talk about IND vs SA – 4th T20 Series.

The Rishabh Pant-led side lost the first game by 7 wickets even after giving the target of 212 in 20 overs, while their batters failed to perform in second T20 as the Rishabh Pant-led side lost the second consecutive match by 3 wickets.

However, the young side of India bounced back strongly and defeated the mighty South Africa by a huge margin of 48 runs and now they will look to carry forward that momentum and try to level the 5-match T20 series by 2-2.

In the third T20, Ruturaj Gaikwad provided some much-needed runs for the hosts in the last game, supporting Ishan Kishan, who has solidified his position as India’s backup opener in the long run, including for the T20 World Cup in Australia later this year.

Both will look to score as many runs as possible in the final two games, followed by a few in Ireland, before the usual openers return to the starting eleven.

Shreyas Iyer, who batted at third in the opening three games, will be eager to turn things around on Friday.

This will be a testing time for the out of form current skipper of India Rishabh Pant when India takes on South Africa in the fourth T20 International here on Friday. However, everyone is hoping to overcome his batting issues and assist the hosts in strengthening their middle overs play.

Bowlers did quite a remarkable work in the third T20 as both Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel, who took 4 and 3 wickets, respectively to restrict the visitors for just 131.

Although middle order batting is a bit of concern for Indian team in this series and the side who are playing in the absence of senior player will be aiming to rectify some small errors they did in the previous outings and ensure to win the game to remain in series contention.
