India vs SA tickets in high demand, CM Naveen Patnaik buys first ticket of Cuttack match

The highly anticipated series between India and South Africa is going to start in just 2 days and the excitement amongst fans regarding the series is too high.

With stadiums set to welcome the spectators in full capacity, the race to grab the tickets is on sky level. According to media reports, the tickets for the 2nd T20 which will take place in Cuttack on June 12 is already being sold out, while there are only limited tickets left for the 1st T20 in Delhi on June 9.

Interestingly, the honourable Chief Minister of Odisha bought the first ticket of the Cuttack match, scheduled to be played at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on June 12.

The officials of Odisha Cricket Association, Pankaj Lochan Mohanty (President), and Sanjay Behera (Secretary), handed over the ticket to the honourable CM at his residence, Naveen Niwas.

This will be the second time India will face South Africa at the Barabati Stadium. In their previous fixture here, team South Africa defeated India by 6 wickets in 2015.

Team India will be playing this series with their all-formats players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah. They all are taking much-needed rest because of workload and will fly directly to England to play the one-off test, starting on July 1 in Birmingham.

India’s vice-captain KL Rahul is appointed as the captain of the Indian side in the absence of Rohit Sharma for the five-match series against South Africa.
