Sai Sudharshan Batting At No.3 Might Miss 2nd Test vs England
Sai Sudharshan walked out after a duck on four deliveries to Ben Stokes’s delivery on the first day of his Test debut. Moreover, in India’s second innings, Sudharshan looked good as he hit four boundaries. However, the newcomer had just scored 30 runs in 48 balls and fell prey to Ben Stokes again. However, the youngster sustained a niggle. Sai Sudharshan was already suffering from a shoulder injury on the last day of the Test against England. Nitish Kumar Reddy had to fill in for him as the substitute fielder in the game, and Sudharshan was out from there on.
As per sources, Sai Sudharshan is not fit to continue in the next Test match against England starting July 2 in Edgbaston. If Sai Sudharshan misses out, Shubman Gill might be the apt option for India at no.3. Moreover, India might include Nitish Kumar Reddy as an all-rounder, or Kuldeep Yadav might be included as a main spinner.
