Harshit Rana Gears Up For First Test Against England
Harshit traveled to England with the Indian team and was part of the India A Playing XI that contested against England Lions in the first unofficial Tests. With Abhimanyu Easwaran leading the side, Harshit Rana took one wicket in 27 overs, offering 99 runs, and had an economy of 3.70.
Harshit Rana received his Test cap in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy(BGT) in Australia. The 23-year-old had taken four wickets, appearing in three innings with an average of 50.75 and an economy of 4.51. Travis Head fell prey to Harshit’s delivery. Harshit caught the big fish as his maiden Test wicket. However, his performance wasn’t as memorable in the BGT, where India had an embarrassing loss against Australia by 3-1.
