England has made a good start in the tournaments and was hoping to win the World cup trophy. But the loss with the match against Srilanka has made a different turn in the match.
England has lost their winning streak against Pakistan. They have their remaining fixtures with Srilanka and Australia. And they are now in danger to be out of semi-finals.
In the latest ODI ranking list, England was removed from the top-ranked One-Day International side. This was the first time they were not on the top of the ODI list in the men’s ODI ranking.
Presently, India has taken its place in the top of the ODI ranking list with the rating of 123 after being won all the five matches. England is next to India with a rating of 122, New Zealand is placed third with a rating of 116, Australia fourth with 112 and South Africa in fifth place with 109.
The match between India and England is on 30 June, Sunday at Edgbaston in Birmingham which is not only an important league match but also decides their positioning in the ODI ranking table.
