India Is The Best Team In The World: Bangladesh Wicket-Keeper Mohammad Mithun

The first Test match of the two-match series between India and Bangladesh is slated to be played at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore from 14 November. Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Mithun has lauded Team India for winning the T20I series 2-1. He said Virat Kohli, the captain of Team India, is one of the strongest captains and the team he is leading is one of the finest in the world. Both India and Bangladesh teams have reached Indore and are preparing for the Test series.

Mithun further praised the Indian skipper by saying,” Virat Kohli is leading one of the strongest and finest teams of the world. When it comes to home Test match series the team is undoubtedly very strong, hard to defeat. These days we have seen the spinning and fast bowling are quite appreciable and fantastic. The second Test match series between India and Bangladesh will start from November 22 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, which will be a day-night Test. This will be the first time that India and Bangladesh teams will play the day-night test series. He said, “We have not practiced with the pink ball, so we do not much idea about it.”

Recently, the International Cricket Council (ICC) banned Shakib for two years for breaking the Anti-Corruption Code. Mithun said, “Shakib and Tamim are our best players, we all are missing them, but we cannot look in the past, and we have to play as a unit and win.”

Bangladesh has never been able to beat India to date in Test cricket. Mithun added, “Every session is very much major in Test cricket. Five days have been given as a chance to each and every team to make a comeback in the match. Everyone has to perform well. We are not focusing on our weakness, we are just giving much importance on our stronger side.”

He concluded by saying, “We are trying to enhance our game, we need to work hard to win the match. All five bowlers in his team are world-class. This series will be part of the ICC World Test Championship. India has played five matches under this championship and is on top of the ranking table after winning all the matches. At the same time, Bangladesh will start the ICC Test Championship with this series.”
