Meanwhile, in the first ODI against the West Indies, Dinesh Karthik contributed with an unbroken score to help India reach 190 for 6. When India was given the chance to bat, Rohit and Suryakumar Yadav got things going well. Suryakumar and Shreyas Iyer were both lost by India quickly after each other, giving the victory to West Indies. Prior to Karthik’s counterattack, India continued losing wickets at regular intervals, but he eventually helped India reach a substantial score.

They were aware that the pitch’s characteristics would make things difficult, according to Rohit Sharma, the captain of the winning Indian team. He said that they had also given consideration to the requirement for a batter with an eye-in to continue. He said that he truly believed this wasn’t a pitch where you could achieve 170/180, but finally they were able to reach beyond the par score, which is an amazing team effort.

According to Sharma, there are three aspects of the game that they want to attempt and enhance. They have also assigned specific tasks to specific players, and today it seemed to work out nicely.
