Against all the odds, the Indian batsmen produced a masterclass at Sydney. Australian bowlers fell on their face in their attempt to get rid of the Indian batsmen on Day 5 of the third Test at Sydney. Ravichandran Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari batted their hearts out while facing the lethal Aussie bowling. An injury-laden Indian side displayed a courageous performance and wrote a new chapter in the history of Test cricket. The draw was a collective effort as each batsman played their part with grace.
Famous dignities react to India’s courageous stinct

Hope all of us realise the importance of pujara, pant and Ashwin in cricket teams..batting at 3 in test cricket against quality bowling is not always hitting through the line ..almost 400 test wickets don’t come just like that..well fought india..time to win the series @bcci

I have been hugely impressed by the steel and resolve in this Indian team. Whether it was fighting back after Adelaide or saving a lost game here in Sydney. Outstanding.

India have about 11 fit players, dug heels in on bubble conditions in Brisbane, called out racial abuse, and batted 131 overs against Cummins, Hazlewood, Starc and Lyon for a draw so can still retain Trophy. I’m not sure there’s ever been a salvage job to match that #AusvInd
