IND vs AUS 3rd T20I Match Highlights

India defeated Australia by six wickets to win the three-match series 2-1 in Hyderabad on Sunday, shattering Pakistan’s record for the most T20I victories in a calendar year.

Australia Power Blazing- 1st Innings

Cameron Green started off well and hit a 19-ball fifty (quickest against India). Following that, the hosts returned with vigour. With the final delivery of the fifth over, Bhuvi successfully removed the risky Green by bowling one outside of his striking zone. After that, the middle overs saw the Indian spinners put the brakes on, and they concluded with combined bowling totals of 8-0-55-4. India would have been pleased as the score at the end of the 15th over read 123-6.

However, Tim David and Daniel Sams made sure that the visitors finished strongly. The former accomplished the milestone in just 25 deliveries and earned his first fifty for Australia. The senior bowlers took a beating, giving up 39 runs in two overs, including Bhuvi and Bumrah (18th and 19th). With a fantastic final over, Harshal prevented Australia from scoring more than 190. Is India able to find it? A thriller is promised for the TV show.

India’s Chase- 2nd Innings

It was India’s determination to work with Virat and SKY that made the alliance successful. Wickets were dropped, but neither batsman moved. Their post-powerplay performance was excellent as they ensured a boundary in nearly every over to control the run pace. And SKY swiftly reduced the run rate with some of his crazy blasts.

The best bowler for Australia was Cam Green. He caused some mishits by pitching fast and with bounce, but Australia denied him the fourth. Australia made a brief comeback after Hazlewood broke SKY’s stand with Virat, but India had the game in hand with wickets in hand and hitters left, even though they would have preferred to finish this stronger.
