Team India and Australia are all set to face each other in a three-match T20 series in India, starting September 20. Here in this article, we have discussed IND Vs AUS 1st T20I Playing XI in detail.

With one is world No.1 team (India – top-ranked team in T20 rankings) and the other is World Champions (Australia – winner of ICC T20 World Cup 2021), it will be interesting to see which team will dominate in this series and how well they are prepared for the next month’s marquee event.

In an effort to create the ideal lineup, both teams will do their best to keep in mind the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.

Rohit Sharma as expected will lead the Indian side, and KL Rahul will serve as the vice-captain with India ready to play with a full strength team. While Australia landed in India with their already confirmed T20 World Cup players except David Warner.

Aaron Finch, who recently announced his retirement from one-day cricket, will continue to captain the men in yellow throughout both this T20I series and the T20 World Cup.

Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel, two of India’s premier pacers who were sorely missed at the Asia Cup, will join the team and almost certainly take part in every match India plays leading up to the World Cup.

The first match of the three-match series will be played on September 20 at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
