It was almost two months that Pakistan was down with their defeat over India in the World Cup 2019. There were many speculations headed before India-Pakistan clash in the 2019 World Cup. Analysis and suggestions came out from all quarters, but Pakistan’s only World Cup-winning skipper and current Prime Minister Imran Khan’s has come up with the advice for Sarfaraz Ahmed and Co.
The World Cup skipper had advised Sarfaraz and Co. to bat first on winning the toss in Old Trafford, Manchester. But, Sarfaraz went on opting to bowl first instead of taking the skippers advice. His one wrong move came out with Rohit Sharma’s 140 which has set a massive score for India. Eventually, India won the clash by 89 runs and made their unbeaten record in ICC events.
Further, Sarfaraz was badly trolled out for making a silly move. Pakistan who couldn’t digest the situation, however, moved on after the encounter and went out of the tournament after winning their last four matches. But, it was Imran Khan who was still stuck on to that mistake.
Imran Khan "the fear of losing makes you have a completely different strategy, negative and defensive. Like recently in the World Cup our captain did; after winning the toss, you choose to bat, not put the other team in to bat. This is all about mindset" #Cricket pic.twitter.com/WbOxgA2mzK

In fact, opting to bowl first has made both the Indian openers Rohit and KL Rahul to make an impressive score of 136 runs in 23 overs. Further, it was proved that Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz to be ineffective and even Mohammad Amir couldn’t fetch much, in spite of bowling well. As a result, India wrapped up with 336 for five in 50 overs and Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals and lost the clash with a great margin.
