Iceland Cricket Board Offers Ambati Rayudu After His Rejection From BCCI

Ambati Rayudu was left out of the Indian squad from the cricket World Cup 2019 and didn’t even take his name when Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar were injured. He was very much disappointed with his removal from the Indian Squad.

In the bizarre tweet, Iceland cricket has offered Ambati Rayudu to play in their team as a permanent residency in their country, after he had once again looked for a chance to be in the Indian team.

Rayudu initially criticized the selectors for not picking him into the squad. When the selectors explained the reason for selecting Vijay Shankar as he is a three-dimensional player in the World Cup then he tweeted like he brought 3D glasses to see the World Cup.

As this went on, Iceland has tweeted how they could select Mayank Agarwal, for the replacement of Vijay Shankar, who was the latest pick for the Indian team in place injured Shankar.

Mayank Agarwal, who has not made his debut in ODI’s for India had made his entry directly into the biggest tournament by keeping the experienced Ambati Rayudu aside, who has an excellent ODI average of 47.06 and a high score of 124.

They also tweeted out the application form for the permanent residency in Iceland, if he accepts their offer to join.

Perhaps turning to Iceland cricket may not be a too bad idea after the rejection of Rayudu from BCCI.
