In response, South Africa women made a decent start, but they lost their first wicket at 25, as Tazmin Brits got out for 15.
Then came Anneke Bosch at the crease and changed the whole scenario of the match. Bosch alongside skipper Laura Wolvaardt added 96 for the second wicket in 64 balls.
Wolvaardt scored 42 off 37 and supported Bosch in the important partnership that set the tone of the run-chase.
Bosch completed the task for South Africa and remained not out at 74 off 48. Her knock included eight fours and a six.
