The men in green remain in search for the perfect balance. However, Babar & Co, who are in England for the 4-match T20 series, will play the first game on May 22, and their squad details are likely to be revealed after the game.

One of Pakistan’s premium pacers, Haris Rauf, did not get the chance to play in the series against Ireland recently.

Rauf suffered a shoulder dislocation while playing for Lahore Qalandars during the PSL 2024 game, and he has yet to play any game since then.

His inclusion will only be possible if he manages to prove himself 100 percent fit to play.

When will Pakistan announce T20 World Cup squad:

The PCB has sent an 18-member squad to England for the WC preparations series, and they need to trim it to 15 for the marquee event, which is the biggest challenge in front of them now.

In such a circumstance, Hasan Ali, Salman Ali Agha and Usman Khan are likely to be selected as travelling reserves.

The Pakistani team is playing continuous international cricket, as after hosting New Zealand for a 5-match series in April. They travelled to Ireland and now reached England from where they directly fly to USA for the big event.
