KL Rahul’s ODI career span has accounted for 2863 runs in 79 matches at an average of 47.71 runs. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant who has had a shorter ODI span of just 31 matches has scored, 871 runs at an average of 33.50.
If we go for a debate beyond numbers, with Axar Patel already in the squad. Adding another left-hand batter to the squad diminishes the balance of the squad. If the management tries to be creative or wants to be brave, they could include Rishabh Pant’s aggressive approach ahead of KL Rahul’s enduring gameplay.
