Salman Agha contributed with 42 runs off 28 balls, while Fakhar Zaman added 24 runs from 41 balls. A notable innings came from Khushdil Shah, who scored 69 runs off 49 balls. Unfortunately, the performance wasn’t enough, as the remaining batters faltered, leading to Pakistan being bowled out for 260 runs in 47.2 overs. They ultimately fell short in the chase, losing the match by 60 runs.
New Zealand’s bowling attack, led by William O’Rourke and Mitchell Santner, was particularly effective, as both were economical and took 3 wickets each.
