Apart from him Mohammed Shami who has more than a decade of experience has also been included in the squad. He has amassed a staggering 197 wickets in 103 matches, with an economy of 5.57 and an average of 23.96 in his career. Apart from the numbers, he also brings along a ton of experience into the bowling attack. Arshdeep Singh in his 9 match ODI career has amassed 14 wickets, with an economy of 5.17 and an average of 23.00.
How does India’s Bowling Attack Look for Champions Trophy 2025?
Team India’s bowling attack has a majority of spinners in their squad for the Champions Trophy tournament. Without their best pacer they have been left out with spinners like Kuleep Yadav, Varun Chakravarty, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel and Washington Sundar.
With a blistering spin attack, and a minimal pace support India has submitted their official squad for the tournament set to start from 19th february. With India’s matches set to be played in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, as ICC and PCB have agreed upon India’s matches being played in Hybrid Mode. Team India enter the tournament with an aim for title challenge.
