ICC Champions Trophy 2025 official schedule Announced

ICC has finally announced a schedule for the Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled from February 19 to March 9. The tournament will feature 15 matches across Pakistan and UAE. Here’s the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 official schedule.

The eight-team tournament, returning back since 2017, includes Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, and Pakistan in Group A, and Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa in Group B. Matches will be held in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Dubai. The event kicks off on February 19 with the first match between Pakistan vs. New Zealand in Karachi.

Key matchups include India vs. Bangladesh and Pakistan vs. India. The semi-finals will be on March 4 and 5, with the final scheduled for March 9 in Lahore or Dubai.

The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 key fixtures include Bangladesh vs. India, Australia vs. England, and a highly anticipated Pakistan vs. India match. The event will run until 9 March, with semi-finals on 4-5 March and the final in Lahore. The tournament returns after a gap since 2017, posing as a positive image for Pakistani cricket.  

Meanwhile, the ICC Chair had to say this about the tournament, ICC Chair, Jay Shah said: “The ICC is delighted to release the schedule for the Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, marking the tournament’s much-anticipated return since 2017. The thrilling competition, in which eight teams battle it out to claim the iconic white jackets, will provide fans with 15 matches of unmissable entertainment.”

ICC has done an excellent job in resolving the ongoing deadlocks between the BCCI and PCB, ensuring that fans are provided with an exceptional and uninterrupted cricketing experience. Past winners of the tournament are Australia, India, South Africa, New Zealand, West Indies, and Pakistan, with Australia each winning twice. Pakistan Cricket Board aims to host a successful tournament for the fans.
