New Zealand booked their place in the Champions Trophy semifinals with a commanding win over Bangladesh, knocking both Bangladesh and Pakistan out of the tournament. Let’s look at Bangladesh vs New Zealand Highlights for 6th Match.

After securing their second consecutive victory, the Kiwis now have four points from two games, joining India in the semifinals from Group A. 

Chasing 237, Rachin Ravindra led the charge with a magnificent 112-run knock, anchoring the innings to perfection. His composed yet aggressive batting ensured New Zealand comfortably reached the target. Earlier, Michael Bracewell was the star with the ball, claiming 4/26 to restrict Bangladesh to 236/9.

Bangladesh vs New Zealand Highlights 

New Zealand won the toss and opted to bowl first, and their bowlers made the most of the conditions, restricting Bangladesh to 236/9 in their 50 overs. 

Bangladesh had a steady start, with Tanzid Hasan (24 off 24) playing some attacking strokes before falling to Michael Bracewell. Najmul Hossain Shanto (77 off 110) played a captain’s knock, anchoring the innings, but lacked significant partnerships. Towhid Hridoy (7) and Mushfiqur Rahim (2) fell cheaply, leaving Bangladesh struggling at 106/4. 

Jaker Ali (45 off 55) provided a crucial late boost. Rishad Hossain (26 off 25) also chipped in with valuable runs, while Taskin Ahmed (10) and Mustafizur Rahman (3*) helped Bangladesh reach a respectable total. 

For New Zealand, Michael Bracewell (4/26 in 10 overs) was the standout bowler, dismantling Bangladesh’s middle order. William O’Rourke (2/48) and Matt Henry (1/57) provided key breakthroughs, while Kyle Jamieson (1/48) and Mitchell Santner (0/44) kept things tight. 

New Zealand successfully chased down 237, reaching 240/5 in 46.1 overs, to seal their place in the Champions Trophy semifinals. The chase was anchored by a sensational 112 off 105 from Rachin Ravindra, who played a match-winning knock. 

The innings started poorly with Will Young (0) and Kane Williamson (5) falling early, but Devon Conway (30) and Ravindra steadied the chase.  

After Conway’s dismissal, Tom Latham (55 off 76) provided crucial support before being run out. In the end, Glenn Phillips (21) and Michael Bracewell (11*) ensured a comfortable finish.
