Team Bangladesh‘s Best Combinations
Apart from the best combinations, the biggest setback for the team would be Shakib Al-Hasan & Litton Das being left out of the squad. The two high-profile players could have proved to be a formidable asset for the team, but the team management and the coaching must’ve taken the right decision for the team’s improvement.
The Batting Order
Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon, and captain Najmul Hossain Shanto will be providing a strong start for Bangladesh, especially during the powerplay. With Litton Das not being selected, Tanzid and Shanto must take on extra responsibility to sail through the innings.
In the middle order, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Towhid Hridoy, along with experienced players Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah, will play crucial roles. While these batters tend to take their time to settle, they have the power to accelerate towards the end of the innings. Additionally, Miraz and Mahmudullah offer useful bowling options, capable of taking key wickets to support the team’s efforts in both batting and bowling.
Bowling Attack
Rishad Hossain, though still young for international cricket, has demonstrated the ability to outsmart batters with his variety of deliveries. His skillful variations make him a valuable asset for Bangladesh’s bowling attack.
Alongside him, the pace trio of Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib provide a well-rounded bowling unit. Together, they form the core of Bangladesh’s playing XI for the Champions Trophy 2025, Bangladesh who reached the semi-final stage of the last edition of the Champions Trophy and lost to the Indian side will look to improve in this edition of the tournament.
