Virat Kohli, who is seemingly experiencing a dip in form as per his standards, will be carrying huge pressure on his shoulders for the upcoming challenges. He is yet to win an ICC honor as the captain of the Indian team and he will be keen to break the shackles to win the Test series against England on their soil. Former Indian skipper and cricketing legend Kapil Dev has some advice for Virat Kohli.

1983 World Cup winner expects Kohli to perform brilliantly in the English conditions and win it for the Indians. Dev added that Kohli should be patient and wait for the right time to inflict his dominance over the oppositions. “I expect him to excel. Can you really shackle him? He is a natural when it comes to adapting but I would caution him to not be over-aggressive. He will have to measure it session by session. He’ll be better off waiting for his moments of dominance,” said Kapil Dev as quoted by The Hindustan Times.

“He will get his runs with a bit of patience. Trying too hard and too early doesn’t work in England where you need to watch the movement of the ball. If you play seam and swing well, show patience, you will succeed in England,” concluded Kapil Dev.
