Here are few questions facing hosts in the home stretch for the world T20 in Australia which will be scheduled to begin from next October. Team India has just 11 scheduled t20 international series before the event.

India team have only played 45 matches since former skipper MS Dhoni relieved from captaincy duty at the start of 2017, they have won 30 matches and lost 14. of those 14 lost games, 10 have come while setting a target. clearly team India needs a reset in plans when it comes to setting a target
If, not Dhawan who can be an opener Batsman?
when it comes to ODIs shikar Dhawan is a match-winner as an opening batsman but in considering his T20I performances Dhawan has struggled to get going neither has he lasted long enough for the dot balls. Dhawan doesn’t have hitman Rohit Sharma’s power game now this is a great chance for KL Rahul to replace Dhawan in the game. He has performed well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali for Karnataka and his test snub may just free him up to make the T20 opener batsman slot his own.
Another Middle Muddle?
Team India kept playing around with the no 4 slots while building the squad for the 50 over world cup in England which hurt them in the semifinal against Newzealand. It will be a great opportunity for Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer, and Rishabh Pant. Shreyas Iyer has played an impressive knock against Bangladesh and Manish Pandey has the ability to conjure outrageous strokes. Pant keeps flattering to deceive and would be skating on thin ice if Rishabh fails here is another option of Sanju Samson who can replace him.
