Her favorite IPL team is called by Harmanpreet Kaur

Harmanpreet Kaur was recently a part of the national team in the T20 World Cup in Australia:

The Indian women’s T20I skipper Harmanpreet Kaur has had quite a tough time on the cricket field. She was a member of the national team recently in Australia’s T20 World Cup. Though her team has managed to qualify against the hosts for the final, to say the least, Kaur’s performance has been shambolic. She could only manage 30 runs in five matches at a miserable average of six.

Her 71.42 strike-rate also spoke tons on how she did in the mega-event. She also did not bowl her off-breaks. The Punjab-born have no cricket to look forward to, for the moment at least. The pandemic coronavirus has ensured that every other cricket match has come to a halt. Citizens across the globe have been repeatedly advised not to go outside and stay indoors.

Harmanpreet Kaur puts forth her best IPL side:

Kaur agreed to hold a Question and Answer session on Twitter during the quarantine period. Taking her success into account, a variety of fans asked her several questions. One of the fans even asked her about her Indian Premier League (IPL) favorite side.

The fan took to Twitter and wrote, “What is your favorite # AskHarman IPL team,” Harman didn’t take the time to call the Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB), captained by Indian men’s skipper Virat Kohli. Answering the tweet, she wrote, “RCB @RCBTweets,”

After the inaugural edition in 2008 RCB has been seeking its trade in the IPL. But even after 12 seasons, they have yet to get their hands on the coveted award. They reached the final in 2009 and were losing out on the Deccan Chargers. Kohli’s men again qualified for the final in 2016. All the same, in the final match, David Warner’s Sunrisers Hyderabad got past them to their dismay.

RCB has had some of the Best in the sector over the years. The Challengers were not short of firepower from Brendon McCullum, Jacques Kallis, AB de Villiers, Dale Steyn and Kohli himself. They secured the services of Aaron Finch, the limited-over skipper from Australia, in the 2020 Auction. It remains to be seen whether they will turn their fortunes around or not.
