Harshal Patel and Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s “True Faces” Revealed Before World Cup 2022; Fans thank Ireland

World Cup 2022: At the Malahide Cricket Club ground in Dublin, India and Ireland played the second Twenty20 International of the two-match series on June 28, 2022. India had a 1-0 lead going into this game after taking the first T20I on June 26.

In order to increase his winning run at the toss, Hardik Pandya decided to bat first in the second game. India made three changes for the second Twenty20 International against Ireland: Sanju Samson was called up in place of Avesh Khan. As Yuzvendra Chahal recovered from a calf injury, Ruturaj Gaikwad was given the opportunity to be replaced by Ravi Bishnoi.

With 72 runs scored in the first 6 overs, the Irish openers got off to a quick start. Stirling, who scored 40 runs in 17 balls, including 3 sixes and 5 fours, was particularly brutal. The opening batsman for Ireland, Balbirnie, hit 60 runs in 37 balls, including seven sixes and three fours.

But India battled back, picking up a few wickets here and there. Although Harry Tector scored 39 points, the Irish continued to reduce the total. Mark Adair (23* in 12 balls) and George Dockrell (34* in 16 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes) almost led Ireland to victory in the end.

Umran Malik was bowling the final over when Ireland hit two fours with 17 needed off of it. Malik then retaliated by bowling to his field, and in the end, with 6 needed off the final ball, Ireland scored just one run, and India won a close match by four runs.

After 20 overs, Ireland’s final score was 221/5.

In such a tight game, the Irish team gave mighty India a tremendous scare, throwing Twitter users into a frenzy:
