Happy Birthday Nitish Rana: Nitish Rana was born on December 27, 1993. He is a cricketer from India who represents Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League and Delhi in domestic play (IPL). He bats with his left hand and occasionally bowls off-spin. 

When Gautam Gambhir was forced to resign as Delhi’s captain in November 2018, he took over his role as skipper. In July 2021, he made his debut for India abroad.

Nitish Rana’s International Career 

Rana was selected for both the ODI and T20I teams by India in June 2021 in preparation for their series against Sri Lanka. On July 23, 2021, he played his first ODI for India against Sri Lanka. 

The sad part is that on his debut, he made 7 runs off 14 balls. On July 28, 2021, he played in his first T20I match against India against Sri Lanka.

His Incredible Record at the Domestic level 

In Delhi’s march to the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy semi-finals in 2015–16, he scored 299 runs and smashed 21 sixes. Highest runs scored by a batsman in the competition. In the match versus Andhra, 97 runs in 40 balls represented eight of the 21 sixes.

Early Start of his Career 

In the 2012–13 season, Rana made his List A and Twenty20 debuts for Delhi. However, he didn’t play his first Ranji Trophy game until the 2015–16 campaign. His first appearance at the first-class convention was impressive.

Against Vidarbha, he immediately hit a half-century after dismissing Wasim Jaffer for nothing. and finished the session with 557 runs at 50.63, including a century and three fifty-sevens, to become Delhi’s top run scorer.
