Indian pacer Mohammed Shami Celebrates His 32nd Birthday Today

Happy Birthday Mohammed Shami: Mohammed Shami Ahmed is an Indian right-arm fast-medium bowler, Shami was born on 3rd September 1990 in Uttar Pradesh, and he is considered one the best versatile bowler that India has produced in recent years. Shami is known for his reverse swing and his pace variations.

Mohammed Shami is celebrating his 32nd Birthday today, Shami made his ODI debut in January 2013 against Pakistan, where he broke the world record by bowling four maiden overs making him the first Indian and eighth bowler in the world to achieve this feat.

The Indian pacer is currently taking time off and working on his fitness level and bowling skills as Shami was not included in the Asia Cup 2022 squad and a lot of people like ex-cricketers and Critics have questioned the selection committee for not including Shami in the Asia Cup tour.

When talking about his achievements Shami took 28 wickets in five Ranji Trophy matches which included two ten-wicket hauls against Hyderabad and Madhya Pradesh, In the 2015 World Cup match against West Indies Shami received the play of the match award for his amazing bowling spell.

In 2019 Shami became the fastest Indian to pick up 100 wickets in ODI cricket, He was also the second Indian to pick up a hat-trick in a world cup match, where he played against Afghanistan. Even though he made his ODI debut in 2013 he took his first ODI five-wicket haul in a match against England in 2019.

2019 was the year where he performed well and performed at his best, Shami was the highest wicket-taker in the world during the 2019 calendar year. Until now Shami has picked up 216 wickets in test format, 152 wickets in ODI format, and 209 wickets in list-A cricket.
