The Indian right-handed batsman Karun Nair is celebrating his birthday on 6th December. He made his Test cricket debut in 2016 and smashed a triple century in his third Test match. Lastly, he has played for India in the Tests, only three of them. After Indian former batsmen, Virendra Sehwag, Karun Nair is the only Indian batsman to score a triple century in the longest format. Karun Nair amassed with unbeaten 303 runs in 381 deliveries against England.

Karun Nair is going to lead Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy opener against Tamil Nadu which is scheduled to start from December 9th. He has been part of IPL (Indian Premier League), where he represented RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) under the captaincy of Indian skipper Virat Kohli. He was also a part of RR (Rajasthan Royals) and Delhi Daredevils in IPL. In the 2018 season, the right-handed batsman signed up for Kings XI Punjab.
