Gulbadin Naib Criticizes Mohammad Nabi In His Tweet

Afghanistan Cricket Team couldn’t win a single game in the ICC World Cup 2019 and failed to put on their stand. Recently, Veteran all-rounder, Mohammad Nabi mentioned that the reason for the change in the captaincy is their poor performance.

Afghanistan Cricket Board has set Naib as the skipper of the team days before the World Cup. Many cricketers expressed their concern over the same including Nabi and Rashid Khan. The Afghans came close to winning matches but failed in the last overs.

Mohammad Nabi, who recently retired from Test cricket, claimed that Gulbadin Naib has never captained the team and in turn played a role in their dismal run in the World Cup. Further, he praised the former captain Asghar Afghan for his led in the team as they came up the ranks quickly.

“Before the World Cup we changed the old captain and that was the main thing why we couldn’t play well as a team. That captain never captained in his life. That’s why we didn’t do that well in the World Cup, and even though we had good games against India, Pakistan and West Indies, we lost those matches,” – Nabi said.

Now, Gulbadin Naib gave a hitting reply to Mohammad Nabi asking the all-rounder to look after himself. Naib took to twitter to post a cryptic message, indirectly hinting at his teammate, who has criticized him earlier.

“First You should look to Your self Mate ????????,” – Gulbadin Naib twitted.

Further, Afghanistan has made a victory over Zimbabwe in the T20I tri-series at Sher-e-Bangla on Saturday. They will look to keep up their winning run when they face host Bangladesh next.
