Gujarat Giants vs Delhi Capitals Women, Match Highlights: Chasing 105 Shafali Verma knocks 5 sixes in the winning runs and ends the game on 76 not out . A big knock that guided Delhi Capitals to the much needed win to come back in the Win.
Starting from the Side meg Lanning and Shafali verma started slow. Shafali Verma took first over to settle on the crease and then took the charge for the chase in the match up with the Giants. With no loss they cruised the chase slowly, and cleared the winning fence with a boundary
Also, a magnificent spell by Marzanne Kapp who clinched 54 wickets and restricted Gujarat Giants at 105.
Shafali Verma knocked 76 off 28 and in support Lanning 21 off 15 remains not out in the chase of the 9th WPL 2023 match.
The Gujarat Giants skipper Sneh Rana won the toss and opted to bat first against Delhi Capitals in Match 9. Gujarat have made a couple of changes in their 11 while Delhi brought in Laura Harris.

As the Giants collapsed at 105, the capitals made it a point to dominated in the game for the win.

The 19th over of the innings was bowled by Shikha Pandey who kept things tight, conceding just 3 runs, clinched 2 wickets in the last to last over. The 20th over of the innings was bowled by jess Jonassen and it was an expensive. Gujarat Giants batsmen hit 1 four to ensure 9 runs came off the over.
It was not the Giants day they struggled in both the innings of the match. Capitals bounced back form the last defeat with the Mumbai Indians will look to maintain the winning streak.
