2020 has done strange things to many people and Former Indian cricket team skipper Mohammad Azharuddin was no different. He luckily escaped unhurt on Wednesday, 30th December, when an SUV in which he was travelling along with three other people overturned in Sawai Madhopur district near Jaipur. 3 other passengers of the vehicle who were travelling along with Azharuddin escaped unhurt. But unfortunately an employee of an eatery near which the SUV rammed received minor injuries. The details of the incident were reported by SHO Chandrabhan Singh of Soorwal police station.

Mr. Singh further quoted that the vehicle overturned when the driver was trying to avoid traffic near a roadside outlet that resulted in him getting too close to the edge of the road and this threw him off balance. He said that the incident occurred just 6 kms away from Ranthambore. It is reported that Azharuddin and his fellow travelers along with the eatery staffer who was grievously injured, were taken to a hospital.
Azharuddin, the former Indian captain-cum-Lok Sabha MP, and his three companions were later discharged. Luckily, the eatery staffer too was discharged after performing the first aide on him. Azharuddin later continued his journey in another vehicle and reached his destination safely.
