Yashasvi Hits Big At ICC U19 World Cup; Bowlers Made India Win

In domestic cricket on making U-19 international a big scene, Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed a majestic century, he has come a long way to fire India against Pakistan into finals of ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup which was held in South Africa.

Up to the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the lead, for India U19 Yashasvi hit four half-centuries in the tri-nation series against England and Bangladesh in England. At an average of 42 and a strike rate of 74.05, Yashasvi has scored 294 runs in seven innings. And as on the run-scorer list, he finished fourth position.

Before this double century, in 4 matches of Vijay Hazare Trophy, he had already scored two tons.

Indian Bowlers Were Successful In Restricting The Pakistan Batsmen

Before the match began, Rohail Nazir, the skipper of Pakistan U19 won an important toss and opted to bat first. But, Muhammad Huraira, who had made a half-century in the quarterfinal was unable to repeat his daring action. In the second over of the innings, Huraina was dismissed by Sushant Mishra.

Nonetheless, the scoreboard was remained ticking as Haider Ali expressed his class in the game. To get going, Fahad Munir also struggled a lot and within 16-ball duck, he was out on the bowl of the leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi.

After a long struggle, later on, there was an infamous mix-up between two batsmen that has become a run-out hallmark of Pakistan which led to Qasim Akram to leave the pitch. For the team, Rohail Nazir was the key while the innings was again built by Mohammad Haris. To score quickfire of 21 runs they kept attacking the Indian bowlers.

But, in the deep, a stunning catch was taken by Divyansh Saxena to put a full stop to the enterprising innings and the game was turned to its head.

Finally, the chase was proved to be a cakewalk for India as not a single inch was given to the opposition by Yashasvi Jaiswal and Divyansh Saxena which would be helpful for the team to take it to the tournament’s final.
