Virender Sehwag has praised the bowler Mohammed Shami and batsman Rohit Sharma. For helping India to win in the last three matches against New Zealand and take a defeated 3-0 lead in the five-match T20I series on Wednesday.
Former India opener describing Rohit and Shami’s performances, tweeted, “Aisa lagta hai apunich Bhagwan hai!(seems that we are gods). In the super over hitman Rohit hit an intelligent undefeated score 15 runs including two sixes. New Zealand Score of 17 chased by India with 20 runs. At Seddon, Park India win the third T20I with 3-0 lead in the five-match T20I series.
Kane Williamson, New Zealand captain scored an excellent 95 runs with an unbeaten 11 runs scored in the Super Over. But those runs are not sufficient as Rohit Sharma(15) and KL Rahul(5) took Tim Southee as a bowler.
After the game was tied the Indian Bowler Mohammed Shami came up with a classic strategy for the last over. He removed Williamson for 95 runs. At that time New Zealand needed 2 runs off 2 balls to win. But Shami played brilliantly.

As a captain, Kane Williamson beat Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis’s record of most half-centuries scored in T20 Internationals. On Wednesday, 29th January, in the T20I match India vs New Zealand, Williamson scored his 9th fifty-plus score.
Kohli has 8 half-centuries from his 36 matches. As well as Faf du Plessis has hit 7 half-centuries and one century from his 40 matches.
In the shortest format of T20Is as a captain, Du Plessis is in top of the list with 1273 runs, second is Williamson with 1243 runs and the third place occupied by Virat Kohli with 1126 runs.
