And this morning, as the country celebrates India’s win against Bangladesh in the T20I series, Ranveer Singh gave us another gift. Across his social media accounts, Ranveer Singh has dropped yet another picture of him as the former World Cup-winning Indian cricket captain. In the first look, Singh as Dev can be seen hitting one.

Ranveer shared the second look with fans across his social media accounts where he can be seen replicating the iconic Natraj shot of Kapil Dev. Ranveer Singh shared the photo and captioned it as ‘Natraj Shot’. The social media was flooded with comparisons after the actor shared the picture. Many people appreciated Ranveer’s look while noticing the uncanny resemblance between the actor and Kapil Dev.
The film, which also stars Deepika Padukone as Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev, wrapped up shooting in the first week of October. Ranveer and Deepika will be seen sharing the screen together for the first time since their marriage. Needless to say, the film has a sizeable line-up which comprises Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar, Saqib Saleem as Mohinder Amarnath, Ammy Virk as Balwinder Sandhu, Sahil Khattar as Syed Kirmani, Chirag Patil as Sandeep Patil, Adinath Kothare as Dilip Vengsarkar, Dhairya Karwa as Ravi Shastri, Dinker Sharma as Kirti Azad, Jatin Sarna as Yashpal Sharma, Harrdy Sandhu as Madan Lal, Nishant Dahhiya as Roger Binny, R Badree as Sunil Valson and Pankaj Tripathi as their coach PR Man Singh. The movie ’83’ is scheduled to release on April 10, 2020.
