The Hundred is finally set to take place next year despite huge criticism. The draft of the first season took place on Sunday and all the eight teams have a 15-member squad at their disposal.
The Hundred will be an experiment on the part of the England Cricket Board. It is expected that the world will accept the tournament once it begins while the English cricketing members have embraced it wholeheartedly.
During the draft, each team was requested to pick one England Test player and a maximum of three overseas players in the draft.
