I Am A Proud Kashmiri- Suresh Raina:
Suresh Raina has joined the Indian cricketers’ list that condemned former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi for his recent remarks against India.
“Gosh! What all a person must do to remain relevant! Even more so for a nation that is living on alms. So, better do something for your failed nation and leave Kashmir alone,” Raina said on his official Twitter handle taking an indirect jibe on Afridi.
“I am a proud Kashmiri and it is and will always remain an inalienable part of India. Jai Hind!” he added.
In a video that has been made viral on social media, Afridi recently accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi for committing religious crimes in India. The former all-rounder of Pakistan has been slammed by Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, and Gautam Gambhir for his comment.
Dhawan tweeted on a Hindi note, The rest of you, are concerned about Kashmir when the whole world is fighting for coronavirus. Kashmir was, is and will always be ours. Even if you are given 22 crores, our one is equal to 15 Lakhs. Count the rest on your own”.
In the recent appeal for people to donate to the Shahid Afridi Foundation in their fight against coronavirus, Yuvraj and Harbhajan were recently became fired for the appeal.
Kashmir Was, Is And Will Always Be Ours- Shikar Dhawan:
I have made an appealing on your demand for the sake of humanity but never again, “said Yuvraj on his Twitter account.” These are the words that are deeply disappointed by Shahid Afridi ‘s attack on our Honorable PM Narendra Modi Ji. Deceived by the recent comments made by Shahid Afridi on Kashmir, Will Never Accept Such Words: Yuvraj Singh.
Harbhajan also tweeted Yuvraj and said, “Yes, no matter what again.”
Earlier Afridi had said that he “does not believe in religion to feel Kashmiri’s agony… just a right heart in the spot.” “Save Kashmir,” said Afridi last Friday in a tweet.
With his words, Gambhir slammed Afridi. “There are seven lakh forces backed up by twenty Crore people, says Shahid Afridi, 16 years old. Yet they’re asking for 70 years for Kashmir. Jokers such as Afridi, Imran & Bajwa can spew venom against India and PM Narendra Modi Ji to fool Pakistan People, but they’re not going to get Kashmir until the day of the judgment day! Remember Bangladesh?
This is not Afridi’s first raise of the Kashmir issue.
Last year, after the Indian Government’s option to abrogate Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, he had visited the Line of Control (LoC) to express solidarity with our Kashmiri brethren. He also called for UN and US involvement on the same issue.
