On this day December 8, 2011, a history made by the former batsman Virender Sehwag, he is the 2nd batsman to score a double ton in the ODI’s. he had scored 219 runs against west indies at Holkar cricket stadium he had smashed 25 fours and 7 sixes in that India had won the match by 153 runs India had scored 418 for loss of 5 wickets in 50 overs

in His cricket career of Sehwag he had  251 ODI’s and 104 test series by smashing 8,273 and 8,586 runs respectively

Sachin Tendulkar was the first person to score a double ton in the ODI against South Africa in 2008 at Goliwar. Rohit Sharma has registered a double century in ODIs three times. He scored his first double ton against Australia in 2013. Then, he went on to achieve the feat against Sri Lanka in 2014 and 2017.

Rohit also had a record of the highest independent score in ODIs as he registered a knock of 264 runs against Sri Lanka in 2014, He scored 264 against Sri Lanka in 2014 and he also registered 208 runs against Australia in 2017.
